Shopping Priority List

Getting involved in any new skill/hobby/sport/interest always comes with its price tag and drums is certainly a big one, with the grand scale of some impressive kits out there. It doesn’t need to be though and like with anything you shouldn’t think new gear will make you better and thus I want to steer students away from that mentality of spending their hard earned surplus cash on gear they don’t necessarily need… until they need it.
There are a lot of gimmick products out there which are frankly a complete waste of money and there are also a lot of bare essentials for newbies that are overlooked usually because they are blinded by the glamorous advert of flash gear.
In order to keep good commitment to your new chosen passion I’d like to help by giving my suggested priority list for how and when to spend your money on a budget.

  • Drum Sticks!!
  • Practice pad
  • Music Stand
  • Comfy drum stool or Throne
